so, today i was offered a position by ice man in his team, but i don’t know if i should. if i do, lunar racing won’t be participating in a major event for the first time ever. but i also have a chance to win the overall championship for teams. i’ll just have to think about it.

so, it’s finally over. another season down. BUT, there is a season 3 to look forward to, so i’ll just wait for that. it does hurt a bit to think i’ll probably never drive my gallardo again. ohwell, liked my jag better anyway, and will be driving that next season. pictures from the post-season photo shoot will be uploaded sometime.

yeah, bucked up my car. i feel pretty bad about it. i mean, this car introduced me to egtx, and racing in general, actually. seeing it as it is now, i feel like i’ve killed a friend or something like that. how’d it happen? i decided to derp in the final corner and hit a wall head-on. it pretty much killed half my car. that poor ford gt… ohwell, crew’s working on getting ‘er fixed now, i hope she doesn’t hate me now.

nothing bad happened to my car BEFORE the race, but during the race is a whole different story. the first race went well, very well actually, got last anyway.
second race, bad times were had. i haven’t tested my car yet and as it turns out, it’s a bit bouncy. but it was just hilarious to see so i won’t do anything about it. but then, a car went haywire and pretty much b’d up everyone. i got a small head injury because i landed on my roof and lost conciousness. appereanty, they tried to get me off the road, but for some reason, none of the drivers responded to the red flag. after the race, i regained conciousness in the first-aid room. doc says it’s nothing to worry about and i could resume racing 30 minutes later.
then i had some fun with some ford focuses and the comms were filled with fors-puns.
lastly, we drove some random GT3’s around the track. it was nice.

the new batch of fuel came in today. finally i can go back to driving my gallardo and XKR again.

Crap, that’s about it. Just crap. It started with me in front to do the pacing, only to be overtaken in the first corner, wich i bucked up badly. Haven’t seen thwarting others since. Ended last in the first race.
The second race was just as bad, although trophy shine had more problems with her car, wich weren’t fixed until the last 4 minutes of the race. She didn’t even bother running the last laps, because she was about 40 miles behind me. Finished 2nd/3
apperantly, it was sabotage. Crimson insisted on getting a phorensic research team to look at the engine. what they found? tree sap. yes. tree… sap…. WHO THE BUCK WOULD PUT TREE SAP IN MY BUCKING ENGINE?! so Crimson was right after all, someone DOES want me out of egtx. apperantly the placed buckloads of tree sap in our fuel supply, just enough to make the engine stop working. we still have no clue who it was though, i don’t think it was the other racers, we get along quite nicely. it isn’t someone who wants to win, it’s someone who wants me to lose. hopefully the police ponies will find out who it was soon.

so, yeah. no race tonight. in the last test run the engine decided to randomly EXPLODE! jk. it just stopped working, we have the mechanics looking at it now. crimson is pretty pissed about it too, she suspects sabotage. i don’t believe her at all though. but she has a point; two other cars weren’t able to make it to the start line either. hopefully we’ll have more luck next week, this is getting rediculus.

this time i started in second, out of three… oh well, fair enough. i kinda lost this lead very soon, because other drivers were slightly better than me. the first half of the race went flawless, nothing fucked up, noone fucked me up. but then in the second half i hit a wall, and prototype-downforce=shit. i got in 3/4.
